Well, that rest day was over quickly. Now back on the road. Quick ride through town to the station for the first of three trains to get me back to Inverness and then on to Attadale and Plockton.
I say “me” but it’s “us” now as my wife Jude has joined the trip for a bit.
Riding for real starts again tomorrow, but with the Tailfin pannier bags stashed away for a day.
And quite some day it should prove to be as I’ll be riding what “100 greatest climbs” author Simon Warren calls the Holy Grail of British hill climbs.
For now, weather forecast says it’ll be cloudy with no rain. Hope that’s the case.
