Day 56 — Longer-than-it-looks Exeter loop

by | Aug 16, 2024 | 0 comments

Today was a book loop day, but with an added podcast recording. I chatted with veteran transport planner Zsolt Schuller who is now working as the “cyclists welcome” manager at the National Trust.

That was later in the morning. Earlier — much earlier — I rode down to Double Locks from Exeter’s quayside to take drone photographs and then rode back for breakfast at the Mercure hotel.

I can’t fly the drone in SSSI zones (I have an app that shows me forbidden areas) so much of the Exe estuary is off limits. However, with a zoom lens I got this photo, with Exmouth just about visible through the mist.
